Olena Serhieieva joined Düsseldorf Competition Economics in 2022. Her expertise lies in the efficient processing and analysis of large datasets using standard tools such as Python, Stata, and R. In addition to data analysis, she has solid experience in developing automated workflows and analytical applications, which she applies to effectively address complex economic questions.

Prior to joining DCE, she worked in the Strategic Management Department of a leading Ukrainian bank, where she conducted macroeconomic analyses, market assessments, and competition studies.

Olena holds a Master’s degree in Economic Analysis from the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), with a dual degree from the University of Houston (USA), and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Credit from Odesa National Economics University.
